Final Fantasy XI is suffering major graphical glitches because triangles are culled incorrectly. Disabling the two calls to glEnable(GL_CULL_FACE) in "wine/dlls/wined3d/state.c" makes the glitches disappear and the game is rendered perfectly. I first observed this in the Debian/testing build (1.8.5-1) and also found this to be the case when building 1.9.22 from source. I used the Debian Linux kernel linux-image-4.7.0-1-amd64, as well as a self-compiled 4.9.0-rc3 with Mesa 12.0.3. GPU: "Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller" The graphics flicker a lot when moving the camera even slightly, i.e. suddenly other triangles get culled. Also lots of venderos. My card is from XFX. I was about to form a patch myself, but I wasnt so sure how to make a correct patch. I just tested passmark 7.0 and it had some 3d benchmark and it showed that I have ati 5600 model or something like that. I was able to run the full benchmark. There are couple crashes at start of the program, but they wont stop you run the program unless you abort the run. It takes some time the applicaton to launch.
