The symptoms seem to be the same, but the application does not crash any more. I was not able the create/find a backtrace. So I assume the crash is fixed. This bug log can be closed. It appears if you are running more than one application and has no configuration options what-so-ever. It would nice to have at least the option to disable completely it with a Wine registry setting. I've attached a patch, tested with Wine-Staging 1.9.13 git, that disables the taskbar/panel (aka "tray_window") from ever being created. Other than that, only corefonts and Nvidia Physx are installed, gameoverlayrenderer.dll is disabled. When I launch the game an empty, black window is opened, titled 'The Bureau: XCOM Declassified (32-bit, DX9)'. The game executable constantly uses 100% CPU, but the game doesn't load. The process has to be killed to quit. Changing Windows profile to Vista or Seven doesn't help.
