The same bug is also present with the newer major version of LTSPICE. In other words, it can be reproduced both with LTSPICE IV and the newer LTSPICE XVII. I strongly suspect that the bug may be triggered by the fact that the program tries to provide both an icon and a text in the tab tags. As a result, the number of tabs gets doubled in Wine.
