I've reverted back to get it working. Attaching output file. Using a 32bit arch installation for this with vcrun 2015 dll set to native,built-in. Using wine staging from ppa on Ubuntu 16.04 64bit. You can download the offline installer from https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/uptodate.html and use it in trial mode for testing (may require to install it on a windows machine/vm first and copying it over, also after installation rename or delete CEPHtmlEngine.exe in "Required/CEP" in the Photoshop directory due to a bug that also happens on Windows and Mac machines, this will cause an error on startup but it works fine afterwards anyways). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I'm using the French version of that video game. I've launched the game on a clean win32 prefix, and set the windows version as Windows 95 (I used to play this game on a Windows 95 machine). Setting the windows version to Windows 98 (or Windows 3.1) doesn't fix the problem. Installing MFC42 doesn't fix the problem either. Both the installer and the game are win16 New Executables. Other that that the gamepad works fine. Unplugging the gamepad after starting the game doesn't stop the looking up. This bug can't be reproduced on macOS, so I think it is a bug of winex11.drv. It may be a bug of layered window, the installer uses UpdateLayeredWindow() to implement it.
