But it seems to me that Battle.net doesn't run in clean prefix with default settings with wine 2.8-git, but does with wine-staging. Tested with Might and Magic VII (GOG.com) + Grayface patch v2.0. It seems the unofficial patches by Grayface result in similar problems in MM 6 and MM 8 too, when trying to switch between fullscreen and windowed modes. Might and Magic VI crashes just like MM VII, Might and Magic VIII becomes unresponsive when I press <F4>.
