Hello Zebediah, I have upgraded my system this morning to kernel 4.14.12 and wine to version 3.0-rc5 and the game works again, as long as I install it in ~/.wine. Unfortunately for you, using WINEDEBUG=-all,+ole or WINEDEBUG=-all,+globalmem to log the activity of the game makes it crash on startup. Finally I started the installed program like this: WINEARCH=win64 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Native\ Instruments/Traktor\ 2/Traktor.exe # Actual result I get an error saying msvcp140.dll not found. Seems like this bug is gone for wine-3.0rc5 (i am unable to reproduce it even for wine-2.18, which is the oldest wine version to which i am able to downgrade on my system - maybe because of the (fixed) freetype2 bug). So it was probably fixed somewhere between 2.3 and 2.18.
