I'll > have to stick with the repo ones It is difficult remove Debian nvidia packages, there are many. But it is possible to remove them and boot with the nouveau or vesa driver. You need to install nvidia drivers withou X running, so download the .run file and boot to the linux kernel rescue mode with grub. In this case we're just passing the message to edit control. The edit control is responsible for handling the WM_SETREDRAW/drawing (WM_SETREDRAW is forwarded to edit control as well). It needs to be done that way so we behave identical as native. In wine edit control ignores WM_SETREDRAW calls so the openmpt application works. Probably edit control should handle WM_SETREDRAW and do redraw when drawing is enabled. You probably want to add a test case (should be easy enough) and then sent it to the mailing list once code-freeze is over. While you're at it, there are more places where PROFILE_FlushFile is called. Do these show the same erroneous behavior? Like in "WritePrivateProfileSectionW", "WritePrivateProfileStructW" Site not, I don't like chaining two methods that have side effects with "&&" like that. [Bug 44250] Star Wars KOTOR Knights of the Old Republic (GOG): Crash trying to enter Black Vulkar base

It's running a slightly out-of-date antergos distribution based on Arch: kernel: 4.13.8-1-ARCH mesa: 17.2.3-1 wine: 2.19.1 I can save the game on the level that causes the crash, copy that savedgame back to the machine producing the crash, and loading the savedgame instantly crashes with the same error and suspicious register value. Loading the same savedgame on the laptop works fine. This is not the only part of game that results in a repeatable crash. Two other locations that spring to mind that on entering result in the same crash are the hunting lodge on Tatooine, and on leaving the airlock to walk outside to get to the bridge on the Leviathan. Loading those savedgames on the laptop works with no problems. It is possible to continue playing after that level on the machine that experiences the crash, but as mentioned there are other instances of that (presumably the same) bug occuring on later levels. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
