Output is attached. Maybe try with 3.0-rc4 yourself. One of our test cases from Mumble [1] tests our SRV resolving code. The test passes on Windows 10 (all I've tested), but fails on Wine (wine-1.8.5 (Ubuntu 1.8.5-1ubuntu2)). On Wine, the test fails due to Qt's QDnsLookup failing with QDnsLookup::ServerFailureError. The code in Qt 5 is here: https://github.com/qt/qtbase/blob/19b0ce5daa31e2ffebfcf2701143742302f1deb4/… So it seems like a call to DnsQuery_W for resolving SRV records is failing with DNS_ERROR_RCODE_SERVER_FAILURE. There seems to be two problems: EULA not showing up correctly (see screenshot) and the download of the trial does not start. I was able to work around both problems bu copying and using a native urlmon from my windows 7 disk. I also had to use patch from staging stub-for-RtlIpv6StringToAddressExW, probably I guess because it`s called from native urlmon (?). I`ll attach screenshot of scrambled EULA hereafter. It now fails with System.EntryPointNotFoundException: Unable to find an entry point named 'SetWindowThemeAttribute' in DLL 'UxTheme.dll'.ched at #Ci.#Bi.#AAb(IntPtr #Qqb, UInt32 #xJf, #Flb& #6xc, UInt32 #xe) at #Ci.#Bi.#1zb(Window #sb, Boolean #NJf, Boolean #OJf) at ActiproSoftware.Windows.Themes.WindowChromeManager.#2wg() at ActiproSoftware.Windows.Themes.WindowChromeManager.#3wg() With the attached patch (stub for SetWindowThemeAttribute) the application starts fine, and copy and paste seems to work fine. I`ll send the patch after code-freeze is over. @Reporter of bug: do you still have the original version, and is the copy/paste error still present? Thanks in advance for reporting back.
