Even in the latest version of WINE I can reproduce this bug. Disabling WINEGStreamer fixes the issue completely. So I don't consider it a major issue. More of a slight annoyance. It should also be noted that RPG Maker VX doesn't work in WINE and will cause a black screen issue. The Audio will actually work completely fine. You can even select new game while the screen is black. But the graphics fail to render. Apparently Blizz gradually pushes whatever new solution it has to parts of the Blizz app client. As of today, not even the news displayed on games' launch page work anymore, and now the message about Helper crashing comes up constantly just from running the client. Literally the ONLY feature that still works is playing games... but for how long?
