WineX11 or WineMac doesn't affect it. All OS version from 10.9 to 10.13 have the same problem. My computer model is MacBook Air 2014-early, the CPU is i5-4260U and GPU is Intel HD 5000. I can ensure that it is not a bug in ddraw because there is a ddraw.dll written from scratch which uses GDI to render, but it doesn't affect at all. The biggest one is making boats unusably slow (boat related missions are impossible). I tried going back to wine 3.0 and wine 2.0.4, but it did not fix the regression. One possible explanation for the regression would be a kernel upgrade (I'm running Debian sid, and I am 100% sure the game was working ~3 months ago). There sound in the intro sequence with Ubisoft logo and in the menu but when you start the game, the sound stops working in cutscenes and in the game itself. I have tried to install xact and directx9 but no change. Also attempted to set to stereo because I read the game has tedency to force 5.1 and I only have a stereo setup. All my testing was done under Arch Linux 64 bit with a 64 bit wine PREFIX. Uplay was installed via winetricks. Using an i7-6600K cpu with a 1080 gtx nvidia card and the 396.24 driver. This all worked well until the change from 3.7 to 3.8. It is still present in 3.9. Instead of just printing and leaving the program, the debugger is started and a window is presented, in which I can choose to report the bug to MS. Regardless of what I do, the program wants to start again and I can choose to start it in safe mode or not. Regardless of what I choose, the program crashes again. So, the setup enters a loop. Expected behavior: Printing windows opens, Outlook prints and closes successfully.
