I had similar issues and in my case the reason my have been the outdated wine-mono: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/any/wine-mono/ Wine offered to download wine-mono but I denied as I thought that I have the distro package already installed. After updating wine-mono everything seems to work perfectly. I tried a "bot game" at first, just to be sure, and then played my first "Draft Pick" game. No issues at all. Tried xact, doesn't help. However, it sometimes seems to work. Just restarted the game a few times, and got it to work that way... Setting the "-forcestereo" parameter launch parameter for the game might have helped, but maybe that's just my imagination. I only tried it like 20 times.
