While builtin windowcodecs looks fine, the application crashes with "unimplemented function IWICPixelFormatInfo_GetChannelCount_Proxy" as soon as you click on the image with the track to select a different. Great, sounds like we're on the right track. It could also be the very latest patch ("add debug traces"), which had a little fix embedded in it.
