That one requires/uses WPF from .Net Framework 4.5.2. The launcher works surprisingly well and much better that the original Assetto Corsa launcher which I never got to work. Anyway, "Content Manager" works fine in wine once .Net 4.5.2 is installed, though with several actions, like selecting a track, the program crashes with: wine: Call from 0x7b43d85b to unimplemented function windowscodecs.dll.IWICPixelFormatInfo_GetChannelCount_Proxy, aborting Looking at https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/blob/master/dlls/windowscodecs/windowsc… this method is indeed not implemented in the wine implementation of windowscodecs. It would be nice if this method could be implemented. I don't know if IWICPixelFormatInfo_GetBitsPerPixel_Proxy and IWICPixelFormatInfo_GetChannelMask_Proxy are also needed, but could imagine that this is the case. PS: Installing the native version of windowscodecs is a somewhat of a work-around. The application does no longer crash, but then a lot of images are no longer displayed correctly (looks like transparent is displayed as white). Here's what I do. Start with a 32bit wine prefix. Install dotnet40 When that is finished, set the program version to Windows 7, which is the lowest configuration that will run NatSpeak 15. The program starts out by requesting dotnet 452. This is not a problem provided dotnet 40 is installed. It makes changes and goes on. Then it asks for preliminary information, such as what type of English I want to speak, and so on. Then the installation hangs. Notes: the installation does not work with mono. It also does not work installing dotnet from the installation disk, even though a complete copy is included with the installation disk. And it doesn't work installing dotnet452 with winetricks. I have the feeling that this may not be a bug as much as an issue that hasn't been addressed yet. After sound drops out the same behaviour as reported here occurs where the game freezes if audio device is changed or the exit button is pressed. It might be one of my overrides since it is a prefix I have not modified in a while after I managed to get it working, though the issue started occuring quite recently. It occurs less frequently than all the time as was the case before the fixes staged in this issue though. We're trying to tweak some of the patches to make them cleaner, since what Andrew gave us was basically just proof-of-concept.
