Symptom is a gradual increase in the number of polys that should be textured instead ending up in solid colors, usually (always?) all the same one (white, fuschia, red-orange, blue all common), that occasionally changes. Changing texture resolution in game sometimes helps. Rebooting doesn't seem to help. Dropping to minimum graphics settings and then bringing them back up worked (once so far). Blizzard just stopped supporting 32bit Win7, so my mom's WoW experience is now utterly reliant on Wine (and she hated having to boot Windows anyway). [Bug 45279] Final Fantasy XI crashes on startup

Version 3.8 works fine and 3.9 gets this crash. I can also confirm that this crash does NOT happen with an NVidia video card using the proprietary driver. Both test systems are using an up to date Arch Linux install so all the other software should be the same, except the video drivers of course. Also, I notice this bug isn't linked to Final Fantasy XI in the AppDB. Can someone do that?
