Confirmed that with this patch the install completes without error. With "are not executable" I meant that most executables fail without error when trying to start them. But this seems to be a different issue and not caused by the install failure. _Maybe_ the programs expect some (running) server processes. Will further investigate this. It should be mentioned that it is the InstallShield package for the game Flåklypa Grand Prix Gullutgave (Pinchcliffe Grand Prix Gold edition) that has this problem.
