I don't known what author have in mind telling latency? I have problem with empire earth: gold with sound. Part of some sound (like information "we are under attack", units sound, etc.) have latency, but latency may mean sound is played after video. In empire earth: gold, as I said, some sounds are split into part and there's pause between each [art. Earlier this problem doesn't exist. It states "no update necessary" at the end, however, when starting T(a)X it keeps telling me that there would be an update. Repacking the assets into a correct unityx bundle without the offending GameIntro.mp4 Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1) Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a) is a heck of a lot harder than just deleting 2 files in a folder. When switching to Vulkan in-game, the game pauses for a few seconds then crashes. If I switch to proton/steam play, the switch to the vulkan renderer in-game, it works fine and switches as expected. This leads me to believe this is either a winevulkan or winex11.drv problem, since those are the two main graphical differences between Standard wine and Proton. The fact that it runs on proton with RADV also shows that RADV is likely not the issue.
