The Virtual Desktop mode is used mostly for virtualizing the monitor, not the GPUs. So it's probably alright. With -O2 binary and no WINEDEBUG, I can reproduce the issue. But, with either -O0 binary or WINEDEBUG=string, I can't reproduce the issue.
