Previous to this upgrade under Pop!_OS, they had all been detected & were working fine. Valve puts their money and resources behind games that will run in Proton, but there's no motivation to fix something in Epic's store. I talked to Volition (the devs for this game), and they basically said they won't support Linux or the Steam Deck.
