[Bug 57484] New: VKB Joystick not detected in Wine 9.22 but works in 9.21

by WineHQ Bugzilla

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57484 Bug ID: 57484 Summary: VKB Joystick not detected in Wine 9.22 but works in 9.21 Product: Wine Version: 9.22 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: joseph+winehq(a)xaosnet.net Distribution: --- I am using Wine-Staging from the WineHQ Repos on Ubuntu 24.04, and with Staging 9.22, my VKB Gunfighter Left is not detected if hidraw is enabled, but is detected with Staging 9.21, or if I check the box to disable hidraw. I reproduced this with a fresh wine prefix as well as an updated one. I've seen reports that this is also impacting some VKB Gladiator users as well on the Star Citizen Linux Users Group discord. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 57419] Pantheon - whisper functionality do not work

by WineHQ Bugzilla

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57419 --- Comment #6 from winehq_bugzilla(a)yahoo.com --- In reality, the nature of this bug is different from what i have described so far, and in particular there is no timer involved, so please disregard all what i have written so far. The nature of bug is as follow : 1 - When just just log in, you can whisper, it works 2 - when you open the "Macro settings" windows, by clicking on the button with a green "+", you can no longer send whisper (the bar opens and you can type your message, but when you press enter to send it, the field loses the focus but the message isn't sent) 3 - if you close that "Macro settings" window, then you can again send whispers Using wine master (commit de071d76c4563157e73bcca7967c4046d42bdf7c), nothing installed via winetricks workaround for #57010 applied by deleting 3 lines from the config file -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 57306] Multiple programs crash due to memory corruption since 5924ab4c515 (Nikon NX studio, Profit, Falcosoft's Soundfont Midi Player, IBExpert)

by WineHQ Bugzilla

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57306 --- Comment #45 from Fabian Maurer <dark.shadow4(a)web.de> --- (In reply to GDD71 from comment #43) > I don't know if it's correct, (I have no experience writing code.)but I > changed the file dlls/win32u/dibdrv/objects.c > Line 812 assert( num >= 2 ); to be: assert( num >= 0 ); I'm 99% sure it's wrong, there is still corruption, just unnoticed. For those who experience still crashes on wine-9.22, can you link a download (if possible) so we can test this? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
