Running with --d3d11 switch enabled d3d11 renderer. Next visible issue is "half" type handling in SM4, it's used for local variables, so no compat mode necessary. Beginning with wine-devel 9.17, dragging & dropping a PNG file into the program window for PNGGauntlet just does nothing. Discovered this on my local Mint 20.3 Xfce installation and confirmed via the Mint 22(.0) Cinnamon live ISO. Attached is the terminal output from just simply running PNGGauntlet and attempting to drag & drop a PNG file into the program window, and then subsequently closing PNGGauntlet. Could you perhaps implement something more modern, e.g. B-Spline, Lanczos or ewa_lanczossharp found in mpv? **At the very least it would be nice to see Integer Scaling (nearest-neighbor) in Wine.** Oftentimes it looks better than any advanced floating point upscale algorithms because it's just sharp.
