This confirms what you last wrote, and sometime in the last day or two the problem has been fixed. All is well. I don't know where you got the package you did install, but it was not from our noble repository, and therefore is not supported here. Note that if you installed one of our packages built for an older version of Ubuntu into 24.04, that is also not supported. Also note that the prompt to download mono and gecko is part of wine itself, not something added to our packages.
