We will need to do a bit more bot mitigation. I don't want to bump up the specs of the VPS unless we absolutely have to. We could perhaps consider locking down more of the site behind a login and preventing bots from spidering things. Disable anonymous browsing of the content. The browse links and app view pages could require a login. Yes, we already have said workaround in place for the Wine version. So this issue could be closed. If interest is still there, it appears I can upload the server binary, but not the client binary. (Thus rendering it useless in my opinion). I just wanted to have this mentioned on the tracker, in case someone else stumbles across that issue, when using similar software. (I'm thinking more like if some early 2000's game doesn't have a working multiplayer lobby and seeing this line, it would be very indicative of what's going wrong). Mostly noticable in a selected few rooms, havent noticed any case where it did not run faster than intended in those areas. This bug isnt specific to said areas however, also noticed a case where a previously not affected area sped up after a transition but that only happened once. Currently there's a bug with application scaling being done separately based on DPI value, so I set DPI to 120 https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56285 In all first person games the same mouse travel distance leads to a higher camera rotation angle in game. So if a game has a sensitivity slider, to get the same mouse sensitivity as you had at 100% scale, you need to divide this value by your desktop scale (in this case, 1.25) and apply changes to these settings on per-game basis.
