The cursor is still shown, and hovering over where UI elements should be plays the expected audio. Then installed winehq-devel and wine.devel and get same errors? Tried winehq-devel, but it is 10.0, so it worked fine. So now what is different from 10.8 and 10.9 that cause the error. OS: Ubuntu 22.04 running on virtual machine. Downloaded WordPro from archive.org link and installed it. In my test following procedure created/stored: ViewMode, ViewPreference,ViewPreference2 to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Lotus\WordPro\99.0\lwpuser.ini\WordProUser] Start WordPro.
