Under Wine 11.0 these calls fail with WSAENOPROTOOPT (10042) and “Unknown … optname 0x32”, which can prevent QUIC endpoint creation (i.e. the application fails to start under Wine/Proton if ECN is enabled unconditionally). The crash is reproducible with: * Wine 11.2 development, "vanilla", from WineHQ repository (old WoW64) * Wine 11.2 development, "vanilla", compiled by me (new WoW64) * Wine 11.2 development + DXVK 2.7.1 * Wine 11.2 staging * Wine 9.8 development (oldest version available from the WineHQ repository for Ubuntu 24.04 “noble”) * Proton Experimental * GE-Proton Running with WINEDEBUG=+relay prevents the crash completely. This creates a race condition between Wine and the window manager that causes games and other fullscreen applications to lose input focus after alt-tabbing back, requiring a restart to regain control. Tested with: - BioShock Remastered (via Heroic/Proton, fullscreen) - DOOM 64 (via Heroic/Proton, fullscreen) Both games reliably lost input focus after alt-tab with UseTakeFocus=TRUE. After setting UseTakeFocus to FALSE (either via registry or this patch), focus is correctly restored every time via X11DRV_FocusIn(). The patch changes the default value of use_take_focus from TRUE to FALSE in dlls/winex11.drv/x11drv_main.c.
