I receive a notice that there's an error and Battle.net has to shut down. I close it, and the error shows up again. This continues in a cycle until I use "wineserver -k" to exit. The backtrace saved from this has been attached. I am able to use the Settings button on the login screen for the Battle.net app, as well as typing in a username/password, but I cannot go any farther than that because there is no submit button and it doesn't seem to want to load. Be aware that I had previously been loading Starcraft II directly using the SC2Switcher.exe executable, but because a new version needs to be downloaded, I'm needing to get into the Battle.net app. Not sure if not using the app is a side effect. Video is not rendered, but audio is played. Starting the game in a virtual desktop does not help, it only replaces the black screen with the blue background of the virtual desktop. The videos can still be skipped, so this does not prevent reaching the game menu and starting a game. All GStreamer plugins are installed (base, good, ugly, bad, libav). Despite the bug metadata being set to WINE 9.8, the current 9.9 build is affected too (but is not proposed when opening a new bug report). This behaviour has been noticed on a Wayland setup with an AMD GPU and Mesa drivers. I should be able to try reproducing it on X.org and with nVIDIA non-free drivers too, I will report back once it is done. The installer did install the needed files, as VSCodium did gain git capabilities. This bug must have been introduced some time after wine-9.22, as wine-9.22 works fine. Please see attached screen grab for SolidWorks 2023sp05: The buttons in question are - <Close>, aka green tick mark - "Rectangle Type" selection When building wine-10.14 from source, replacing the wine-10.14 folder "dlls/comctl32" with the older one from wine-9.22 fixes the problem and the SolidWorks buttons work again. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
