When the game starts or after changing menu screen, main menu is completely black. Graphics can be visible only after pushing any button in the menu, but releasing mouse button elsewhere. On wine (without vm.overcommit_memory=1) it fails if you try to do this on a range that is larger than what is available in commit space. So solution should be somewhere to use mmap MAP_NORESERVE for the MEM_REPLACE_PLACEHOLDER placeholder path. It does, however, still work in Wine up until version 8.3. On the current Wine version, the games launcher starts and updates the game. Afterwards the games .exe starts and you can see it in the process list. However, the game window does not show up. The game developers have introduced a niche Unity store anti-cheat solution with version 450, so this might be an issue. However, since the game still runs in Wine 8.3, there seems to be a way to also have it run on current versions. It is possible to download and install the game without having a game account. The error occurs right after the games .exe starts up, before the login window appears. I tried WINEDEBUG=+odbc but could get much relevant output. Most interesting is probabaly this: trace:odbc:SQLAllocEnv Returning 309, EnvironmentHandle 00000000 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="odbc32=b" or "odbc=b" didn't change anything as far as I can tell. If I downgrade the package it immediately starts connecting again. The driver I use is the proprietary SQL Anywhere 17 odbc driver. It works fine using unixodbc with both linux x86_64 and linux 32 bit applications. Is there any way I can provide more relevant information? The game installs but when choosing the to use the Nvidia graphics - it say video mode not supported. When the AMD i-gpu, it loads, the background load but no 3d models shows at all, only way to fix is to set the games options shader level to 0 instead of 2 (only those options for them) changing this option for Nvidia graphic does nothing to fix the problem. however when install an older winehq-staging from your fedora 39/40 repos and try again everything work with this game and actually allows to create 32-bit prefix (fedora 39 repo not fedora 40) repo) but it breaks 64-bit compatibly because of broken dependencies with libavcodec.so.60, libavformat.so.60 & libavutil.so.58 as fedora 43 use newer versions and symlinking the files do not work. using the winehq-staging from your fedora 41 repo - produces a black screen when game is started. is the way to update version in fedora 39/40 repos use to updated libavcodec.so.61, libavformat.so.61 & libavutil.so.59 or let the latest version able to fully create 32-bit prefixes (also allow older 16-bit compatibly) and not solely use wow64 mode because it doesn't work for everything -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
