Testing on linux with a wine 10.x based branch (the 3D rendering fails to initialize on 11.x and I don't want to go to the trouble of bisecting right now), seems like native comctl32 does get around this bug, though it introduces some minor black-bar rendering errors. As far as the bug itself with wine's comctl32, it looks like the underlying WM_LBUTTONUP event is only sent at the start of the *next* mouse-down. So, when the mouse clicks a different button, LBUTTONUP gets sent, but the cursor is now out of range and no BN_CLICKED fires. This is another log of stdout, plus a backtrace winedbg would show, if enabled for background processes. It shows also the: Unimplemented function ntoskrnl.exe.IoGetLowerDeviceObject called This happens inside a winedevice.exe process, the call originates from aksfridge.sys. Without patch, bug affects renderer=no3d and gl but MangoHUD only appaers for WINED3D/gl and unclear if no3d falls back to OpenGL shown by MangoHUD for patch/GOG. DAMAVAND/vulkan, otherwise working for patch/GOG, shows blackscreen missing MangoHUD and spams these logs: 0184:fixme:d3d:wined3d_texture_vk_prepare_location Unhandled location WINED3D_LOCATION_DRAWABLE. 0184:fixme:d3d:wined3d_texture_vk_prepare_location Unhandled location WINED3D_LOCATION_DRAWABLE. 0184:fixme:d3d:wined3d_texture_vk_prepare_location Unhandled location WINED3D_LOCATION_DRAWABLE. Also, for wayland, unpatched version renders game shrunk at top left corner surrounded by blackscreen vs GOG/patch version which renders true full screen. The attached log file shows the wine debug log, when - the usb dongle is attached to the host, lsusb shows this line: Bus 003 Device 005: ID 0529:0001 Aladdin Knowledge Systems HASP copy protection dongle - and volocity 6.3 and its "license server 2.2.1." are installed in a new WINEPREFIX.
