This also causes white flashes when switching away and/or back to the game window when running in windowed mode, but it seems to be more a symptom of the commit blamed in 58491 [2]. Using the open-source amdgpu/mesa drivers, and KWin-X11. Last tested at d60f8286056 [3]. Instead, Wine's default, minimal, and visually unappealing decorations are displayed. I have enabled option "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows" in winecfg and it's working fine on Xwayland. For example, building at 11.7 (or current master) and then going back to 11.5 and running the PlayOnline Viewer (the Final Fantasy XI Online launcher) will be less than successful: wine: Call from 7BF6D278 to unimplemented function winegstreamer.dll.winegstreamer_create_color_converter, aborting wine: Unimplemented function winegstreamer.dll.winegstreamer_create_color_converter called at address 7BF6D278 (thread 0178), starting debugger... I'm having trouble with getting the backtrace to print into my terminal, and the dialog doesn't want to show it either for current builds, so the attached one is from Wine 10.0. Bisecting it, I didn't quite catch the exact related commits needed for this, but perhaps that's not really necessary. I certainly can dig them up though, if it helps, and once I have soe more time for it. I'd guess it's somewhere here: https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/compare/e679f22c70b...ce7deba1ff Going by releases, building at 11.6 first, and /then/ going 11.5 does work, which I find at least someawhats interesting. Otherwise the 'winegstreamer_create_color_converter' references will remain, but manually removing the 'windows/syswow64/iyuv_32.dll' and 'windows/system32/iyuv_32.dll' files helps. Whenever a program uses mouse warping, a bounding box may trap it at a random time. This is temporarily resolved by causing the window to lose focus. I first knew this bug to occur on 2.4, and it may have been earlier. I knew 2.0 to work perfectly in this regard, but Steam now crashes on that version and cannot test 2.1-2.3. I've created a video demonstrating situations where this occurs. When I open the wine configuration app, wine mine, and dungeondraft they are scaled so the ui is too small to read. I can partially fix this by changing the screen resolution but then when I switch to my external monitor (1440p at 100% scaling) everything is way to big and I need to restart my apps.
