[For details on the software check the app database](https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=430…) The software is used to help creating the tax report in Germany. At the very end, one need to create a PDF file which is then transmitted to the tax department. However, the PDF file is never properly rendered but just a blank file with some horizontal lines and fractured digits. The (attached) log is full of FIXME-messages related to the library d2d saying that it ignores a certain stroke style. > fixme:d2d:d2d_device_context_DrawGeometry Ignoring stroke style Apparently it affects this special setting as one can draw PDF files at other points in the program. Underlying issue: If a ::select is done on a socket that can be ::recv'ed from, but is already closed at that time, the socket will be part of the except-fd_set. This does *not* happen under linux (or windows). I have attached a patch for the wineserver that fixes it under my machine and also a proof of concept to show the deviation between wine, linux and native. Old WOW64 closes the NEW PROJECT window and opens the standalone app but new WOW64 malfunctions somewhere in between. I built a fresh new WOW64 from scratch just in case of a fluke but bug remains. It does work when using a regular OpenGL driver (radeonsi in my case). It crashes both with Mesa git and Mesa 26.0.4 zink. I was testing it using MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE='zink' Nothing really stands out in the wine log. Let me know if I should attach it with some specific debug channels.
