Here is the debug log with winecfg set to "windows 7" when running wine haspdinst.exe -install The usb-dongle is connected to the host. An error dialog is opened with the title "Sentinel HASP Run-time Envir..." and the message "Unable to start hardlock service with parameters 1119 1053 ... "Program Files (x86)/Common Files/PerkinElmer Installer for Aladdin Hasp Drivers/haspdinst.exe" "Program Files (x86)/PerkinElmer Imaging License Server/svcctrl.exe" "Program Files (x86)/PerkinElmer Imaging License Server/License Server Service.exe" The first two (haspdinst.exe and svcctrl.exe) produce the same WINEDEBUG log (at least when using the default settings) "License Server Service.exe" produces additional log entry, it seems this is a kind of wrapper around one of the other two.
