Like many others, I would be grateful if you could run Photoshop in Wine. Unfortunately, Wine in its current form does not allow this to be done. Photoshop either crashes or doesn't start at all. Many people still can't upgrade to Linux due to the lack of Photoshop support. It installs, but it doesn't work. I found a solution where you don't have to do anything at all. There is a project that allows you to launch Photoshop 2021 and it works fine. I place a critical importance, as it is important to a huge number of people. I think it can be done a long time ago. The number of people who will be grateful to you will be huge. I have been professionally involved in graphics for many years and know many people and studios who would have switched to Linux a long time ago. If you provide Photoshop support, the Linux community will grow significantly. Because Photoshop − It's the only thing that can't be replaced. Please implement the parts that are in the project, which I will link to below. This is a fork of your Wine. Sadly I don't know how to run it with Wine alone since it's a game on Steam and is, therefore, configured to run with Proton. All steps below are based on Proton Experimental. How to reproduce: 1. Copy that character above. 2. Open Path of Exile with any Proton version that can run the game. 3. Log in with any character. 3a. Create one in any league if you don't have one. 4. Open chat (Enter key). 5. Paste character into chat. 6. Game crashes. Install Vara hf. Vara starts and runs for 3 to 15 minutes then fails. Program closes. Wine continues to be functional - I can return as soon as I configure another combination. I have lots of logs in version 9, version 9 32 bit and version 11 64 bit. I am running Ubuntu 24.4. I will attach my log file. The last couple are V11 64 bit - the version is in the run header. Earlier ones are version 9 64 and then version 9 32 bit. I am new to wine and somewhere new to linux. I have searched for the msdatsrc problem. I found a case from 2020 but I did not see a solution and that is much earlier code. I installed vbrun6 and wine-mono. It has been a long day. Whenever a Wine user enters the LAN mode lobby, his/her user name shows up twice on the player list. Also, ONLY the Wine users can make games that the other users can join, but not the other way around. When the game starts, every joining user gets kicked out of the game. Going back to Wine version 10.15 worked for me, but this isn't a substantial solution, as 10.15 will eventually fade as newer versions come in. Enclosed are error logs for both games. Please be aware that the demo versions were looked at, but both the demo versions of C&C 3 and Red Alert 3 don't have multiplayer, so verification is impossible.
