Hello, we try to start wine with a microfocus netexpress developed programm. we use tab-controls (notebooks). the control appears, but the embedded controls, like a combobox, label or textbox doesn't appear. we get the following errormessage on the console screen: fixme:tab:TAB_WindowProc Unimplemented msg TCM_SETITEMEXTRA if you want more information e.g. Screenshot please mail. Altogehter the Software works succesfully. All Browser Windows, Buttons, Screen-io are working sucessfully. Only this notebooks does´t work. This is an important behaviour. We are using wine on a SuSE Linux 8.0 System with wie Version: 20020904. Going back in CVS, it seems the problem first appeared in dlls/comctl32/listview.c 1.144. I have compared log files with -debugmsg +listview between 1.143 and the latest (1.152): egrep -i '(LButton|HitTest|Selection)' 1.152.log trace:listview:LISTVIEW_LButtonDown (key=1, X=544, Y=31) trace:listview:LISTVIEW_RemoveAllSelections () trace:listview:LISTVIEW_HitTestItem (x=544, y=31) trace:listview:LISTVIEW_SuperHitTestItem (x=544, y=31) trace:listview:LISTVIEW_SuperHitTestItem no hit, closest item -1, distance 2147483647 (many similar lines deleted) In 1.152, the execution path is LISTVIEW_SuperHitTestItem -> LISTVIEW_GetItemRect -> LISTVIEW_GetAllMeasure. The last one fails at if (!(hdpaSubItems = (HDPA)DPA_GetPtr(infoPtr->hdpaItems, nItem))) return FALSE; The pointer was never set because the window style contains LVS_OWNERDATA, which causes set_main_item and set_sub_item to skip the calls to DPA_InsertPtr. I run the program and it asks for the key(note its the correct key) and then once it confirms the key it tries to connect to the camelot servers to update the files on my system. This is where I get the 201 message. It attempts to connect and pops up the message every time... I am a nooB to Linux and Wine so I am almost 100% sure that its a config thing on my end. I looked through the config file in the ./wine directory. But as far as I can tell everything looks fine. If you have any Ideas I would forever be in your debt. I really want to move to Linux exclusively but this is one of the major roadblocks... I'm trying to convert!!! :) Thanks guys... Oh PS this is the version of wine that comes with the lycoris/lx download.. Yup newbie Linux... Unimplemented function... Cause of exception?

Hello. I'm trying to run WinPLACE with the last wine package. The composition part works, but the compiler doesn't. I get: fixme:int:DOSVM_Int10Handler Get Font Information - Not Supported (BH: 0x0) wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger... The fact that the Int10Handler is a dummy function, and probably returns no valid values, can this cause the exception that appears next? May this be solvable just returning a pointer to a VGA table or so? (The value of BH was 0x0 when the Int10 was called - I modified the Fixme msg slightly). Saying NO to the debug window that appears next, gives: err:win:WIN_FindWndPtr window 10021 belongs to other process Suggestions? Thanks, John

It just sat there, no errors, no windows, nothing happened. It seems either newer versions of wine have a regression here or there's an incompatibility with X 4.2 or linux 2.4 or something else on my system that's been updated. I straced the process and it just sat calling wait4 but then I guess that's normal, it's hard to trace a program that forks so much.
