Summary: wine fails on loading a DLL
Product: Wine
Version: 20050930
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-loader
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: Rincebrain(a)gmail.com
Freedom Force installs perfectly under Wine, but fails to execute with the
following error:
err:module:import_dll Loading library Sound.dll (which is needed by
L"C:\\Program Files\\Irrational Games\\Freedom Force\\fforce.exe") failed (error
c000007b).
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program
Files\\Irrational Games\\Freedom Force\\fforce.exe" failed, status c0000135
This DLL exists, and is, in fact, a native DLL which is in the program folder.
The only bug I could find vaguely similar to this involved Max Payne and
DirectX, and I doubt that is relevant here.

Summary: regedit does not implement find
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: wine-programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: Rincebrain(a)gmail.com
Wine regedit, as of wine 20050930, does not implement the Find functionality.
This severely limits the usefulness of it - in fact, cat and grep are more
useful than wine's regedit replacement in this regard.

Yep, I pretty much always use win2k. And I tried to create a trace, but
"WINEDEBUG=+seh wine ZBrush2.exe" gives no output at all... I also tried
"trace+seh" with the same results. "trace+reg" gives an output, so Wine seems
to be OK.

when you are in the program click on options > game
data, all the game data is missing, its almost as if
the program doesnt initialize it properly, if you run
the program from within windows all the game data is
there and you can interact with it and change it
around

I think autoexec would be "wontfix". As it's not used on winnt+

Sorry, in this case it was a *modeless* dialog, not a modal one.
