So Wine appears to be doing a bad choice of picking the font to use, and USPSBar.ttf is one font that tickles that. But moving that one file away doesn't rescue CW. Moving all of them does. Ocrf.ttf, if left in, will mistakenly be used, but that's at least somewhat legible. Nelspec.ttf, if left in, will mistakenly be used, and that's illegible. And so on. Not sure which of the fonts is picked if they're all there, but whatever, the font matching algorithm is clearly knackered. Or maybe it's ok, but the fact that Wine does't come with the same set of fonts as Windows causes havoc.
