Thanks for the reply and it is a handy reminder.
My main problem is simply that when I uninstall wine, BricsCAD will be
removed/uninstalled also.
I have no problem with 're-doing' everything with wine, my problem is
that I will lose all my user preferences for BricsCAD should I go this
way. ( BricsCAD is installed in /opt/bricscad but is somehow tied to the
wine installation.)
Note: BricsCAD would not install if I first did any form of
configuration with a clean install of wine ~ I needed to install wine,
install BricsCAD4Linux, install CrossOver, then re-install
BricsCAD4Linux to get both CrossOver and BricsCAD running correctly. As
by this installation on my system you can see that I at no time touched
anything to do with configuring wine.
At this point I followed the rule: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Then I used CrossOver to install PlanBee ~ that found some bug that I
have chosen to assist with.
So to recap: the wine config ain't the problem ~ it's retaining the
preferences with installed programs using wine that's the problem.
I guess I was hoping that a simple rpm -Uvh would be enough but I also
want to give the bug guys a correct report for what happens with the
latest wine package and PlanBee.
Still, the 'heads up' with winecfg is a great reminder and greatly
appreciated.

Hi, i downloaded the demo, but it doesn't respond to ctrl-N. Is the problem
still present using current cvs (or latest wine version) ? If so, could you try
run with native comctl32, see if it changes anything, and otherwise close the
bug. Thanks

All applications (Notepad, for example) can't save and open files in
directories, which names consists russian symbols, but they work with ordinary
files.
When I try save (or open) next file:
/home/{directory/which/contain/russian/literals}/file.txt
I see error messages. But wine doesn't write anything in terminal.
When I save file:
/home/eng_path/anylang_filename.txt
All OK

Nothing new about this bug. I just forgot to mention which pegasus version I was
using. It is 4.21c.
I would like to try solving this bug but I do not have enough knowledge about
wine debugging. I would need some advice to go on.

Nothing new about this bug. I would only add as additional information the
pegasus version I am using which is 4.21c.
I would like to try to analyse the problem but I have not enough knowledge about
the how to debug with Wine.
Any help would be welcome.

I assume you mean bug 2398 rather than 2938. Yes I think the d3d problem is
very closely related to this bug. It may however, require additional fixes on
the d3d side to get it working.

Hi, I have tested this with editplus 2.20 on fc3, working fine.
I never stuck. If you could tell me how to exactly reproduce this issue,
otherwise i will be closing this one.
