Had to disable ddraw within Quicktime as there was a repainting issue. It now works fine until I try a search. When the search dialog opens the white backgound of the 'input field' flickers to blask and then back to white. When I start to enter a search the backgound of the field goes black again. Then the colour of the application go screwy. blacks become white text blue and so on. Also masks that give the front-end shape (like rounded corners) appear so the rounded corner now appears in a white box. This behavior continues even after the search dialog has been closed. To give you an idea of the colour shift. If I don't enter a search criteria the app displays a 'Windows' dialog. Instead of the light gray with black text and blue title bar, I get a dark grey background white text and a yellow title bar. When all this happens I don't see any errors in the console.
