Could you check if in your Wine tree you have an 'opengl32.dll.so' file ?
As for the trace, just do 'WINEDEBUG=+loaddll wine foo.exe 2> trace.txt' and
attach the trace.txt file to this bug report.

Summary: Colour palette goes nuts when Input fields displayed.
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: p.beard(a)blueyonder.co.uk
App: Titanic Explorer
It an educational CDROM produced using Macromedia Director and making heavy use
of Quicktime.
Had to disable ddraw within Quicktime as there was a repainting issue. It now
works fine until I try a search.
When the search dialog opens the white backgound of the 'input field' flickers
to blask and then back to white. When I start to enter a search the backgound of
the field goes black again. Then the colour of the application go screwy. blacks
become white text blue and so on. Also masks that give the front-end shape (like
rounded corners) appear so the rounded corner now appears in a white box. This
behavior continues even after the search dialog has been closed.
To give you an idea of the colour shift. If I don't enter a search criteria the
app displays a 'Windows' dialog. Instead of the light gray with black text and
blue title bar, I get a dark grey background white text and a yellow title bar.
When all this happens I don't see any errors in the console. What I do get in
the console is at start up (see below);

Those selfextractors work fine for me and for other folks.
likely either a FC4 kernel level problem or SMP related.

as this is a self extracting zip executable you could of course also use unzip
to get the content out. I've found these self extracting zip files do rarely
work in wine.
