It was made using Wine 0.9.3 stock (no winetools or extra dll's or anything) on Slackware 10.1/10.2 mixed. Entering the odbccp32.py again dosen't help. On my computer the demo gives the same console output, however the load process is not slow at all (i guess you mean the loading of the game). I cannot say if the rest of the game is slow, as i don't know how it works. Maybe you could try the demo and tell if it has the same bug as the game.
