Screenshot of errors during reverse patching
If I reverse-patch in CVS time that is closely related to moment after timee of
bad patch post (2005-05-16 14:44:00 CDT), I can do reverse-patch.
But if I choose some more recent CVS time (2005-11-22 00:00:00 CDT), I get
errors that are visible on screenshot.

winsock.log file requested in comment 19
Here is the winsock.log file you requested (attached.) It was made using Wine
0.9.3 stock (no winetools or extra dll's or anything) on Slackware 10.1/10.2
mixed. I did not change my Windows version setting in Wine from the default to
Win2K or WinXP.

Summary: Simple way to copy wine to another machine
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: wine-tools
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: tuharsky(a)misbb.sk
I'm gonna to compile wine some more special way (reverting patches etc..) and I
wish to copy the whole wine installation to other machines then. I't not
bearable to compile on each machine separately.
Can somebody give me an advice?

Did you get any error messages about exiting dsound.dll with devices open?

I'd say just do patch -Rp1 -i odbccp32.py
p1 strips one trailing dir.

What I did:
Created new repository in /usr/src/wine-cvs/wine
Set the date
went to
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2005-May/015490.html
Right clicked at Patch, downloaded it into /usr/src/wine-cvs/wine as odbccp32.py
file
then ran
cat odbccp32.py | patch -Rp0
It complains that
"can't find file to patch at input line 31"
and requires me to specify file. Entering the odbccp32.py again dosen't help.
"Perhaps you used wrong -p or --strip option?"

Hi, there's a demo available from http://www.gamershell.com/download_7840.shtml
Could you confirm (or not) that it has the same behaviour as your game? On my
computer the demo gives the same console output, however the load process is not
slow at all (i guess you mean the loading of the game). I cannot say if the rest
of the game is slow, as i don't know how it works. Maybe you could try the demo
and tell if it has the same bug as the game. Thanks
