where is acmsetup.exe by default?
I can find ie6setup.exe in the Windows Update Setup Files but not acmsetup.
Even if the work around works, still a bug as requires fiddling to get the job done.

please use a newer wine version. 20050211 is pretty old and the
respective code where it crashes got rewritten.

They may be harmless, but there was no music and I couldn't play the game. I am
therefore unable to say whether this bug is fixed or not.

These messages are harmless. They mean your soundcard supports hardware mixing
but wine doesn't support that yet (fixme) and falls back to software mixing.

Mind you, I can't actually *play* the game any more because the window is
refusing to capture keyboard input. And wine won't create a desktop any more
either (which was how I used to force keystroke-capture before).
