I have the same problem with wine-20050524 on FreeBSD 5.4. After
right-clicking on the layer toolbar (and all the other toolbars), Photoshop
7.0 locks up completely.

...after the right click, the following appears:
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x12538c0 "?" wait timed out in

At this point, photoshop is pretty much dead :( I've tried both native and
builtin dll's, still the same.

Does this problem still occur with the latest Wine release?

I'm getting exactly the same problem in Operation Flashpoint. I can play the
game a few second, then sound start locking and it crash.
I'm using an audigy 2 zs, with alsa and oss emulation.
I tried the different sound option availabe in winecfg from wine cvs 20050719.

Sorry, but Reason still doesn't run for me, nor for someone else who has
also been trying to get it running under …
[View More]WINE.
The problems being experienced now are not related to the original bug.
But I'm surprised you managed to get the demo song to play.
Which version of Reason are you trying? I'm trying version 3.

I removed my .wine directory and ran "wine".
It didn't give me a config file.
I tried running winecfg, and it complained about missing dlls.
Then I removed my .wine directory again, did a
unsetenv WINEDLLOVERRIDES and ran winecfg.
Now I was able to install MFOG.
It runs, but the stones don't display properly---there is a black square around
every stone. My guess is that …
[View More]the black is really supposed to be transparent
pixels and that the transparency isn't being handled properly.
Sound works! I can play it! Is there something I can do to fix the
transparency issue? Should I file a separate issue, or leave it in this one?
(Technically, the installation issue is resolved, but there is a display problem.)

Looks to me like you did not setup wine correctly. Check if you have the following
link ~/.wine/dosdevices/c: which should point to ~/.wine/drive_c. If not create
it, or better (if you make a backup) , just remove ~./wine, and just run "wine"
once; the directories and links should be setup properly for you.

Hi, just tried foobar2000 (version 0.8.3) on my box, using current cvs. Right here
it seems to run perfectly (using OSS). I can kind of reproduce one error you have:
when i select artsd instead of OSS (i use kde) , and i minimize the window the
music stops for about half a second.Futhermore music plays way too slow. Using
Alsa also seems to have some issues …
[View More]on my box, but that could maybe be related
to my setup. Could you check what audio driver you use, and if not using OSS,
could you try to switch to OSS (using winecfg), and see if the problem remains?
Regards.
