When I attempt to open a file, I get the following error message in a dialog box: 'myfile.xls' cannot be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location. Or, the server the document is stored on may not be responding. The file is writable, it happens no matter where I store it (tried /tmp, c:\, and c:\My Documents), and with two different files. I test a centralized installation (i.e. MS-Office is installed somewhere in /usr/local). But all users have full access to the whole subdir.
