However, trying to work out what conditions this is the case for. There are two suitable options for dealing with this problem. The easiest thing to do would be to add a note to the winecfg libraries page stating that only the name of the dll is required and not the extension. The second option would be to truncate the .dll extension when the user adds a new dll. This option adds more code to winecfg but eases the burden on the user.
