The installer seems to work with CVS
2005-07-07 12:00:00 CDT
and doesn't work with
2005-07-07 13:30:00 CDT
This is interesting, because so far, that's are the limits which the bug 4229 is
also within. They might be connected, but this needs a prove.
I'll search for suspicious patch and let You know.

By CVS Wine 060109, it seems to work again.
More verbose testing needed; I will perform ASAP.

I can tell that there are two problems with myODBC installer:
First one is, that since some version, it dosen't work either.
Second one is some bad buffering of graphics of whatever, again appearing since
some version of Wine.
These bugs are not the same. I'll report the graphics separately.

So far, I did CVS regression testing to this point:
2005-07-07 12:00:00 CDT buttons OK
2005-07-07 13:30:00 CDT buttons crippled.

And for the last question, no, there is no demo available.
Although, if You are of very serious interest, a remote connection can be
established for You to our client PC. If so, send me IP of Your gateway to my
e-mail. But unfortunately, it will probably not be before monday.

To answer the question, on most Linux systems here, there is CUPS shared network
printer used for printing. Only about 1/3 PC's have their local printer, and
they share it for others using CUPS.
There is also legacy of Samba shared printers here, but because of problems with
them, we don't use them anymore. We want to get rid of them shared to network,
because CUPS replicates them etc..
