It doesn't work when it finds the 64-bit version. Maybe Gentoo works because it doesn't have a 64-bit version of the library? This is very reminiscent of the Freetype issue as well. I take back the idea that this is a new problem, as I now remember working around it in my Makefile before converting from CVS to Git. I also tried the latest Wine version via GIT, same results. D3D apps work just fine, though (better than ever, actually). With the demo Iconoclast by ASD¹, all I get is: --- 8< --- wine: Unhandled illegal instruction at address 0x33fc48 (thread 0009), starting debugger... Modules: Cannot get info on module while no process is loaded Threads: process tid prio (all id:s are in hex) 0000000a 0000000b 0 00000008 (D) (null) 00000009 0 --- >8--- This application used to work last time I checked.
