The result is that $ winhelp WDMAIN8.HLP triggers the page fault. All other files work fine. I think we found the culprit. On a more general note: This bug may have absolutely nothing to do with custom bitmap fonts. I merely /assumed/ that since bug reports for 16 bit apps were not flooding in, that the bug might have had something to do with the custom font display used by this particular terminal emulator program.
