i still get this bug in 9.25, as bug 3236 seems to be fixed i dont think this is
a duplicate of that bug.

Summary: winecfg libraries menu exits on enter
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.25.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P4
Component: wine-tools
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: karimarie(a)mail.rit.edu
Pressing "Enter" while in the "New Override for Library" combobox on the
Libraries tab in winecfg causes wine to exit as if you pressed the "OK" button.
What should happen is the "Enter" should be interpreted as if you pressed the
"Add" button.
I use a lot of dlloverrides, so this has been a continual nuisance to me, as
whenever I forget to press the all-important TAB key prior to hitting enter, the
program exits and I need to start it all over again.

Now I tried it with wine 0.9.25 and it's nearly the same, but it takes more time
between the question for gecko and the crash.
The version 0.9.17 isn't available ever more. In bug #6126 it's said that this
version wouldn't have this problem.

A regression test would be nice for the devellopers.

On starting the Loki-installed version of Soldier of Fortune II, it crashes.

This is using the latest wine .deb package provided on wine.budgetdedicated.com
for Ubuntu Edgy Eft, with a 'clean' (created by winecfg) .wine dir.
It used to work perfectly on wine <=0.9.22 and still does when I downgrade wine
to that version.

Well, I've found sort of a solution. If you press 'F2' the selected box becomes
editable. :)
Although this still doesn't work when trying to change the parameters in the
'colors' tab.
I'd still like to see a possible workaround so it works as normal; I've filed a
feature request with MetaQuotes for this too.
