All the other bugs related to this problem have been fixed by Mike's patch so
this one is likely fixed too. However feel free to reopen this one if that's not
the case.

I don't understand what should I do? Both 0.9.24 and 0.9.23 doesn't work
correctly. Only 0.9.22
But with all of them another problem, one time it stops ti display even
winecfg windows when I use X11 forwarding. After deleting .wine everything
goes ok for a while.

You're right : I'm experiencing exactly what you're describing, and I either
shut down manually emule when it happens, or my wrapper does it. So, I'll leave
emule running on its own as long as I can (probably ~2 days) to see how it behaves.

You're experiencing the phase just before the final crash happens, where
downloaded parts aren't able to be saved anymore and you see black/yellow
striped progress bars in the Transfers window and warnings in the status bar
about being unable to save some .met or .dat files. In my experience this state
is only temporary (it can last a couple of minutes to almost an hour) because it
always ends in a crash. If you have the time please do try to keep it running
longer to see if it happens to you.

You said your emule crashed, well, it never really crashes here, it just logs a
lot of errors "... too many open files" [which in fact means : too many open
handles, that is : sockets are also affected], and all connections are lost
forever, until I restart the app. After restarting it, I also experience data
corruption on .met/.dat files, which is probably due to emule being unable to
save the data because of the "too many open files" problem. I think there is an
option to force emule to regularly and securely save this data (in the advanced
options tab, can't remember the exact name), maybe it'll limit the data loss
during your tests. The above patch seems to resolve the whole bug for me, but
I'll try to test emule on my side for a longer time next weekend. I also use
kad+ed2k protocols, and I'll use the same settings as yours, just to be sure.
