It's a duplicate of bug 4860. The software uses j2re1.4.2, and has it's own copy. I removed this, symlinked in my own j2re1.5.0_10 and it installs, installing it's own version of java as well. Adding my Digital Certificate should allow me to log on, but no joy so far. https://www.ros.ie/java/javachecker.jsp shows no java :-(. I don't remember which was the first version that broke like this, but generally speaking Wine was a catastrophe for me ever since the 0.9 release: frequently the source wouldn't even compile without errors and I could literally watch how fewer and fewer things worked with each release; so now it's completely dead, at least it can't get worse. Over the course of three years of using it I haven't come across a single game that worked with newer releases, but many that ceased to work, at least temporarily.
