I wasn't able to get this working on any older Wine versions though, I tested 0.9.{10,14,15,16,17,18,20} and today's git both with and without virtual desktop. I also tried patching IWD to 1.06, which didn't seem to help. IWD2 works fine (starts up at least) with most versions of Wine for me though, including today's git. I made a new .wine directory, and Dreamweaver installed just fine. My old "drive_c" directory was made by winetools, under an old wine release. I think my issue was related to this configuration. (I tried your patch before making a new attempt, checked the regedit to be sure about the implementation, but no luck again. I had to do 'yum remove freetype-devel.i386' to get it compile again.
