I installed Ghost Recon then went to install the Mission packs. The installer would get to about 90% of the preparation bar then tell me the game wasn't installed. I then did a "wineboot" which seemed to fix that. Now when I run the installer for the Mission Packs I get the "An installation support file could not be installed. (0x8000ffff)" before it even gets to 1% (basically it does it instantly). Game loads fine but crashes the moment you try and log in with a character onto Battle.NET. Game works fine with the original CD and starting via the original EXE though (a nightmare for testing though and for those of us that hate switching CDs :p). How would updating wine from 0.9.26 to 0.9.27 touch glibc and break NPTL support. I can't imagine any way that glibc should be touched. When logging in I was told I needed to update by the client, I did, but the app begins to load then closes itself.
