note: I am running the game using the -opengl option to "Frozen Throne.exe":
wine "Frozen Throne.exe" -opengl
since running the directX version does not work anymore (MEMORY ACCESS VIOLATION
error).

I would like to add a related note:
with latest CVS wine, I get a similar error with
Warcraft 3 - The Frozen Throne
Trying to start the single player campaign game.
The error:
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request: 379
Current serial number in output stream: 379
This error breaks the single player game experience completely, so I thought
you'd like to know.
Here is the opengl trace before the freeze and subsequent error:

When running ./setup.exe from QuickBooks 2006 Reinstallation CD, I get a dialog box:

Summary: Manpages for wineg++ - link broken
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.8.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: fpazzatura(a)email.it
On install in Ubuntu (with checkinstall command), the link of manpage
"wineg++.1.gz" is linked to ".gz"...
I imagine that the link it had to head for "winegcc.1.gz", or not?

I kinda figured that. Any idea why changing to Unsorted would fix it anyway,
though? I can repeat the problem over and over with YXBanded, but it works fine
with Unsorted. Could it be one of the other parameters conflicting somehow?
